Paying your employees should be quick and easy. To help with this, you can configure FieldClock to export pay data into a file that’s accepted by Famous.
If you haven’t already, please watch our videos titled “How to create a Payroll Entity” and “How to map payroll codes” linked below to first learn about Payroll Entities, template placeholders and payroll code mapping. This will provide you with the knowledge necessary to successfully configure Famous.
- Click the “Software” dropdown and select “Famous” as your payroll software
- For your “Input Format”, specify whether or not you use “Department + GL Account” or “Cost Center + Phase”...
- You’ll notice inputs appear for your specified “Input Format”. For example, “Cost Center Template” and “Phase Template” will appear for “Coster Center + Phase”...
- Template Placeholders, which are listed in blue on the right-hand side of your screen, can be used to map payroll codes to those payroll specific inputs…
- For instance, if your “Cost Center” in Famous is set to Block Code, copy and paste the Template Placeholder “{block_code}” into the Cost Center Template input
- Click the “Show additional details” button to display other Famous inputs…
- Then, do the same for the other inputs as needed, such as “Crew Template” and “Grower Block Template”
- If you’d like to leave hourly rates out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit Hourly Rates” option
- If you’d like to leave non-productive or break payouts out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit Non-Productive Payouts” option
- If you’d like to leave non-productive or break rates out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit Non-Productive Rates” option
- If you’d like to leave minimum-wage adjustments out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit MWA Payouts” option
