How do I create or edit a Task?

Tracking different types of labor is an important part of your operation. In FieldClock, Tasks represent the actual activity or work being performed. Creating new Tasks is incredibly simple, and there’s no limit to how many you can have.

To create a new Task, first login to the Admin site and click “Admin” from your left-hand navigation menu. Next, click the “Tasks” tab. Then, either click the “New Task” button on the right-hand side to create a new one, or select an existing one from your Tasks list to edit it. 

  • First, “Name” your Task. Something like Picking or Spraying… 
  • Then, optionally select a “Color” for better identification in lists.
  • “Payroll Codes” allow you to input a single payroll code, which will be applied to all of your Payroll Entities, or you can assign different codes if you have more than one Entity.  For more information about Payroll Codes, please watch our video titled “How to map payroll codes” linked below.
