We have multiple Overtime and Doubletime calculations for you to choose from, which allows you to pay your Employees how you need.
Overtime means additional time worked past an Employee’s regular hours. Doubletime is time worked past Overtime hours.
- The formula for Overtime is to pay a multiplier after a certain number of hours have been worked in a day, or in a workweek. A simple example might be to pay 1.5x regular pay after 8 hours in a day, or after 48 hours in a workweek…
- Doubletime works similarly to Overtime. Here, you might need to pay 2x regular pay after 10 hours in a day, and after 55 in a workweek…
- We have additional OT/DT options, which you can tailor to your specific needs. For the “Overtime Rate Method”:
- “Per Job” means the Base Rate will be calculated using only the current Job’s data…
- “Regular Rate of Pay, To-date” means the Base Rate will be calculated using the current Job and any earlier Jobs in the same workweek that are already finalized…
- “Regular Rate of Pay, Workweek, Blended” means the Base Rate will be calculated by considering all finalized Jobs in the workweek at the regular rate and then applying Overtime rates where needed…
- “Regular Rate of Pay, Workweek, per-Pay-Type” means the Base Rate will be calculated by considering all finalized Jobs of the same pay-type as the current Job in the workweek at the regular rate and then applying Overtime rates where needed…
- Your weekly threshold can be checked against all hours in the current workweek, or against Regular (non-OT/DT) hours…
- “Consecutive Days Threshold” means if an employee works this number of consecutive days, a separate hourly threshold can be applied to subsequent days. For example, if an employee should be paid Overtime after working 6 consecutive days…
