Non-Productive Time Categories are a way to categorize time that needs to be paid to employees when they are not actively working. Common categories might include rest breaks, lunches, travel time, or sick pay.
To create a new non-productive time category, first login to the Admin site and click the ‘Admin’ button from your left-hand navigation menu. Next, click the ‘Non-Productive Time’ tab. From there, click the ‘New Non-Productive Time Category’ button.
- First, “Name” your category
- Then, optionally select a color for it for better organization
Categories provide better organization of your breaks, which means less mistakes and more time spent running and growing your business.
