Paying your employees should be quick and easy. To help with this, you can configure FieldClock to export pay data into a file that’s accepted by Compu-Tech.
If you haven’t already, please watch our videos titled “How to create a Payroll Entity” and “How to map payroll codes” linked below to first learn about Payroll Entities, template placeholders and payroll code mapping. This will provide you with the knowledge necessary to successfully configure Compu-Tech.
- Click the “Software” dropdown and select “Compu-Tech” as your payroll software
- First, select whether FieldClock should use an Employee’s “ID Number” or “Badge Number” in the export file’s “Employee ID” field…
- Template Placeholders, which are listed in blue on the right-hand side of your screen, can be used to map payroll codes to your payroll specific fields, such as “Source Code” and “User Code”...
- For example, if your “Source Code” in Compu-Tech is set to use your Crew Bosses Initials, copy and paste the Template Placeholder “{crewboss_initials}” into the “Source Code” input…
- The same can be done for the other inputs if needed, such as “Supervisor Code” and “Manager Code”. Some Inputs might not be required, so feel free to leave those blank if needed…
- If you’d like to leave hourly rates out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit Hourly Rates” option
- If you’d like to leave non-productive or break payouts out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit Non-Productive Payouts” option
- If you’d like to leave minimum-wage adjustments out of your payroll export, select “Yes” for the “Omit MWA Payouts” option
FieldClock makes exporting pay data to Compu-Tech quick and easy.
