How do I assign a Badge login?

Users with Badge logins can access FieldClock's mobile app, and can be assigned by editing an Employee's profile.

Access to FieldClock is a top priority! Our Badge login provides quick and easy access to the FieldClock App without the need for an Email. Employees with a Badge Login simply swipe their Badge and enter their PIN number to login. 

To create a Badge Login for an employee, login to the Admin site and click “Employees” from your left-hand navigation menu. Then, select an employee from your list and click the “Edit employee” button to edit them. Finally, scroll down and click the “User Account” tab.

  • First, click the “Badge” option in the “Login” section…
  • Then, specify which role or privilege to grant them… For more information on roles, please watch our video titled “Roles Overview” linked below… 
  • Once saved, click the “Reset Badge PIN” button on the right-hand side of the screen, which will display a 4 digit PIN number. This PIN number should be provided to the employee and written down for safe keeping…
  • PIN numbers cannot be viewed again after we’ve provided one, which means that a new PIN will need to be created if the employee forgets or loses theirs…
  • To login, the employee needs to scan their badge on the FieldClock app, then enter their PIN number, at which point they’ll be logged in… 

Badge logins are best for users who only need access to the FieldClock App.
